Rock Garden Records is absolutely electrified in welcoming Smitt E. Smitty & The Fezztones to the Rock Garden family!
Massachusetts-based glam-rock explosion led by Detroit music legend and current Boston-based music machine, Michael Smith, aka, Smitt E. Smitty, and his band of merry musical misfits, The Fezztones have planted themselves in Rock Garden Records’ soil. The Fezztones follow Smitty’s other band, Little Billy Lost, in moving to Rock Garden Records.
Rock Garden Records will release a series of singles for Smitt E. Smitty & The Fezztones throughout 2024 to become an album for the fall of 2024 harvest. To that end, Smitt E. Smitty and Rock Garden Records founder and in-house engineer/producer, Todd Erickson, have begun preparing unreleased Fezztones material for release. “Motor City Smitty”, as Todd has crowned him, will also be contributing a vintage Bob Seger remake as a Mutual Admiration Society track and nod to his Detroit roots. Motor City Smitty’s MAS release is the first released planned. Support for Smitt E. Smitty & The Fezztones begins Sunday, November 26, 2023 at "Revolution", Rock Garden Records artist showcase at Brighton Music Hall, Boston.
